The autumn and winter seasons are a period of high incidence of electronic equipment failures, and LED displays are no exception. As a high-value precision electronic product, how to maintain the LED display in autumn and winter, in addition to ordinary maintenance, it is necessary to pay close attention to the following three aspects: static electricity, condensation and low temperature.

Static electricity is a major killer of LED displays. It will not only reduce the life of the display, but also discharge and break down the electronic components inside the display to damage the screen. Whether it is an indoor LED display or an outdoor LED display, static electricity is easily generated during use, which poses a safety hazard to the display. By adding a ground wire to the display screen, the static electricity generated by the display screen can be transmitted to the ground in time; in addition, when workers operate the display screen, they must wear an electrostatic wristband to prevent damage to the screen caused by static electricity carried by the human body.
Condensation is also a huge threat to LED displays, and it is extremely harmful to outdoor displays. Although the outdoor display screen will be waterproof, the condensation is due to the condensation of water vapor in the air, and small droplets will adhere to the surface of the PCB board and module of the display screen. If the waterproof treatment is not done well, the PCB board and the module will be corroded, which will reduce the life of the LED display or even damage it. The solution is to choose a display screen with a coating and waterproof coating when purchasing a display screen, such as Hongking's LED display series, or apply a layer of conformal paint to the screen body.
The low temperature environment will also affect the operation of the LED display. The working temperature range of most outdoor LED displays is -20°C to 60°C. If the temperature is too low, the performance of some semiconductor components will be reduced or even unable to start normally. Components may crack due to low temperatures. Therefore, when purchasing an LED display, try to pay attention to its working temperature. Do not light the LED screen when the temperature is too low, and regularly check whether the screen is damaged. In extremely cold conditions, you can install a warm air device on the display.
